  1. To the Family of Br. Eddy, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Br. Eddy as I knew him. Br Eddy, was a teacher of mine back at Xavier High School 1979-1982. He was a man that taught me a lot about life and how to deal with life’s issues as a teenager. I last saw Br Eddy at Xavier’s 40th School Anniversary where we talked for hours about our great times on retreat programs and vists at the bookstore. May God bless him and his faimly and friends at this sad time.

  2. So very sorry to hear this. Br. Eddy was a good man, friend and will be sorely missed. I had the pleasure of having him as a teacher from 1977 to 1980 for math and at that time computers. He always had the time to help no matter what it was or how difficult the math was to me at that time.. He was a calm and good teacher and wished he was still with us. My son is a freshman at Xavier in Middletown and hoped at one point Br Eddy would show up for a visit. I still recall his voice in class. I now have a profession in computers and after thinking back about it, he had alot to do with it…Thank you Br. Eddy!!! God Bless his family and friends and all the best to the Xaverian Brothers.

  3. I am very sorry for the loss of DAVID. hE was always so nice to me at Westboro High. I pray that God will surround you with comfort and peace.May God be with you now and always. betsy

  4. I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Brother Eddy. He was my Geometry teacher at Xavier High School and one of the best teachers I ever had. He was also a great and caring man and a friend. I am sure his family and the brothers will miss him greatly. I will always remember him. He and all who cared for him are in my prayers. 5. Our thoughts and prayers to Brother David’s Family. Brother David would visit with Most Rev. Paul Loverde when they were in Middletown, CT with Angie & John Deegan (my inlaws). She would cook special Italian meals and they could hardly move when it was time to go to Xavier Brother’s Residence for the night after dinner and dessert. We so enjoyed his stories about Xavier, my husband John ’72 and I (Mercy ’73) understood because we attended and graduated from Xavier and Mercy. We are sure that he will be so missed by his family, his family of brothers at Xavier, his past students and Bishop Loverde. We will miss his visits to CT and we know he is still organizing thing in Heaven. God Bless!!!

  6. Best math teacher I ever had. He almost made geometry fun. The man could draw a perfect circle on the chalkboard…amazing…
