Carolyn G. (Wentworth) Moore, 82, died March 26, 2016 in Florida following a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of the late Harold G. Moore. Born in Danvers on Nov. 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James and Winifred (Eaton) Wentworth. She was raised and educated in Middleton and was a resident of Topsfield for many years before retiring with her late husband to Florida. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, and camping. She leaves three sons, Harold G. Moore, Jr. and his wife Paula of Sandown, NH, Darrell W. Moore and his wife Donna of Topsfield, and Wayne J. Moore and his wife Lisa of Plaistow, NH, two sisters Frances DiTomaso and Jane April, both of Gray ME, her grandchildren, Teri, Eric & Megan, Jillian, Dustin, Thomas, and Brendan, and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Isabella. She was predeceased by two siblings, James and Priscilla Wentworth. A graveside service celebrating Carolyn's life will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, June 3, 2016 in Holten Cemetery, Holten St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited.

  1. Fran, Dave, & Jane So sorry for the loss of your Sister “Sis” I knew her when we were very young when she babysat us McLeans when we lived on School St. Harry used to come on his Cushman Motor Scooter when they were dating back then. She will be really missed.

  2. Thinking about the three winters Fred and he stayed in Estero .. Sis and Harry welcomed us with open arms. Welcomed us to their inner circle of friends and invited us to join their bowling team,which I remember we had many laughs 😀 I have often thought very fondly of all the fun things we used to do … Sis was a very warm and open hearted person ❤️

  3. Neighbor and friend in the “Middleton Days.” My heartfelt sympathy to the boys and their families. Those times on Washington St. were the good ones.
