Charlotte Y. (Labbee) Hooper passed away on June 10, 2011 in Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles K. Hooper. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Arpin) Labbee. She was a graduate of Salem Vocational School. Charlotte was employed as an assembler at Hotwatt for 25 years. She enjoyed decorative painting, handwork and calligraphy. Charlotte was devoted to St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish and was a daily communicant. Charlotte’s family would like to extend their gratitude for the care given to their mother from Cedar Glen Nursing Home in Danvers and the Beverly Hospital. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and John Mello of Danvers, her dear friend and neighbor Constance Cappos, a cousin Ruth Bouchard, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard Labbee, Jeannette Newman and Cecile McCarthy. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Vst. Hrs are Mon. from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral. Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Charlotte’s name to The Gerard L. Dorgan Scholarship Fund c/o St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant Street, Danvers, MA 01923
