Cheryl D. (Ciman) DiDonato, 65, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her home in Beverly. Born in Peabody on Nov. 25, 1947, she was the loving daughter of Marjorie Oulton of Danvers and the late Argonne “Chuck” Ciman. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a 1965 graduate of Danvers High School. She later earned her nursing degree from the Essex Agricultural Institute. A Beverly resident since 1967, she was employed for nearly thirty years at Pilgrim Rehab. Center in Peabody and for several years at Annemark Nursing Home in Revere. A loving and dedicated nurse, she was always advancing her knowledge in her field. A cat lover, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and the Red Sox. She was a person who lovingly opened her home to many of her children’s friends and loved to cook. In addition to her mother, she leaves a daughter, Talia Kenny and her husband Thomas of Beverly, a brother, Skip Ciman and his wife Jeannie of Rowley, three grandchildren, Jason Kenny and Matthew and Nicholas DiDonato, two surrogate granddaughters, Savina and Sophie Rodriguez, and a loving extended family. She was predeceased by her son, Jason DiDonato. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no visiting hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Cheryl’s favorite charities, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 89 South St., Suite 406, Boston, MA 02111.
