Christle A. Windt
November 26, 1958 ~ November 29, 2023
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Christle A. Windt, aged 65, on November 29, 2023, following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Christle, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, departed this life peacefully, embraced by love.
Born in Melrose, Massachusetts, on November 26, 1958, to Robert Windt and the late Jean Orlando, Christle was raised in Lynnfield, embodying a spirit of curiosity and compassion. A graduate of Lynnfield High School, she furthered her learning at Northern Essex Community College, obtaining an associate degree. Her professional path included roles as a bank teller and a bus driver for Ipswich Public Schools.
In addition to her human connections, Christle had a profound love for animals, a trait that defined much of her life. Her compassionate nature extended to all living creatures, and she found great joy and comfort in the company of her beloved pets.
Christle's journey took her from Middleton and Ipswich on the North Shore of Massachusetts to the tranquil Gulf Coast in Cape Coral, FL, where she devoted herself to being a volunteer Big Sister. This role showcased her generous and nurturing nature. She was passionate about the ocean and found her happiest moments boating, reflecting her adventurous spirit. In her final years, Christle returned to Massachusetts, where her daughter, Melissa, and family cared for her, ensuring she spent her days as comfortably as possible.
Christle's memory lives on through her family: her devoted father and stepmother, Robert and Hallie Windt of California; her former husband Kevin Brown of Rowley, MA and their loving daughter, Melissa Witt, and son-in-law Joe of Rowley, MA; and her cherished grandchildren, Leah, Kai, Alexander, and Lukas. She is also survived by her three siblings, Bobby Windt of California, Sheila Windt of Florida, and Darlene Ciarcia of Florida, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Each family member shares in this profound loss and is united in their love and fond memories of Christle.
In respect of Christle's wishes, funeral services will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2024. Contributions in memory of Christle may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org. Arrangements are entrusted to C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.

I remember Christle from high school. We hung out together and went to many places. She was a lot of fun. I did not know she married Kevin Brown for I recall when they first started dating and living in Wakefield, Mass. I remember a car they had where you had to use a screwdriver to shift it and I will never forget that car.
Although it has been years since we connected, I have fond memories of her and I am happy to read she has a family that cares for her deeply.

I had the pleasure of working with Christie at Brookdale in Fort Myers. Blessings to a sweet lady and her family🫶:skin-tone-4:
