  6. Pat and Dave,
I am so deeply sadden by the news of Chris’s passing. My heart stopped when I heard. It is never far from the minds of those of us who have sons and daughters struggling with addiction. Chris was a bright light in the sober community. He made a difference. I will keep you all in my prayers.

  7. Dear parents and family of Christopher, I did not know your beloved son but my heart aches for you. I lost my son, Edward, to a heroin overdose 7 weeks ago. The pain I feel, which I’m sure is the same pain you feel, is unbearable. I try to hold on to the fact that my son is no longer struggling with addiction and is at peace. But I am not at peace and I’m sure you aren’t either. This is a pain and emptiness that I would not wish on my worst enemy. My heart goes out to you and I hope, in time, we can heal. If you ever want to talk or cry, please don’t hesitate to contact me at cameronwicker@verizon.net. God bless you and keep you and rest in peace, sweet Christopher.

  8. Life has a way of humbling us, eh?
he will nap now through the second of eternity, and when he awakes he will be refreshed and new, and we will be with him. There will be no more strife and struggle; no more death.
I thank God for the great gift and mystery that was his life, and I pray he has Peace. Please God, your family can experience some of that peace, also.
Be blessed! You are all loved….
