Colette Conway, 75, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 21, 2010 in Beverly Hospital. Born in Limerick, Ireland on Apr. 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Kennedy) Conway. She was raised and educated in Ireland before coming to the United States as a young woman over fifty years ago. A resident of Danvers for over thirty years, Colette was employed as a bookkeeper at Carter’s Ink in Cambridge, Eclipse Mattress in Boston, and Wayside Storage in Peabody. She enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Marie Harrington of Marshfield, her sisters and brothers, Deirdre O’Connor of Ireland, Carol Murphy of Brookline, NH, Thomas and Tony Conway of England, and Sylvester Conway of Ireland, many nieces and nephews, and her dearest friend, Robert Sanford of Hamilton. She was predeceased by her brothers Michael and Eugene Conway. Visiting hours are Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 5-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Danvers People-to-People Food Pantry, PO Box 2076, Danvers, MA 01923.

We are at a loss for words for the sudden passing of our friend Colette.
