Mrs. Dahria “Dottie” Dylingowski, beloved wife of the late Alphonse Dylingowski, died Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Danvers, MA. Born in Danvers, December 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Rubin) Gill. Mrs. Dylingowski was a lifelong resident of Danvers. She received her education in the schools in the Town of Danvers. She graduated from Holten High School in 1948. In her youth she was an avid basketball player and lifeguard at Sandy Beach in Danvers. Mrs. Dylingowski was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Polish Church in Salem, MA and was a member/volunteer of the St. John Bingo Committee. She was an active member of the Senior Center in Peabody, MA and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Dahria loved dancing; she and her husband were avid polka dancers and traveled the Northeast Circuit dancing many weekends. She worked for the Perma-Clean Rug Company (Pelletier Rug) for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Dylingowski leaves behind her son Peter J. Dylingowski, his wife Paula and their 3 children Thomas, Seth and Danielle (Dylingowski) Holmes, Danielle’s husband Chris and their 4 sons Collum, Morgan, Sinjon, and Tohrin Holmes; her daughter Lisa (Dylingowski) and her husband Robert Fuller and their daughter Katelyn Fuller. She also leaves behind Terri, wife of her son Robert whom Mrs. Dylingowski was predeceased by and their children Sarah, Velescity and Jason and his daughter Isabel Dylingowski and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at noon in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.   2. I am saddened by the death of my long time friend Dahria. she worked with members of my family at Permaclean Rug. I never saw her without her trademark smile…a smile that came easy to her face. Dahria lived her life with dignity, love and grace…I was privileged to be one of her many friends. I want her family to know that I care.
