LAS VEGAS, NV- David G. Talbot, 77, passed away on September 25, 2023 following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Shirley Talbot.
Born on June 30, 1946, he was the son of the late George and Laura (Williams) Talbot. David was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School. David served our country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a proud Veteran. He had been a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service working in Saugus for 20 years. Some of his favorite past times were woodworking, metal detecting and spending time with his family on camping trips of his own. In 1985 David purchased the York County Campsite Park in Cornish, Maine. David was proud to have owned and maintained the campground for many years. He and his family have wonderful memories of spending time with family and friends, greeting new campers and seeing all the seasonal campers at events throughout their stay at the campground. David was certainly the comedian of the family and enjoyed making people laugh any chance he could.
