David Guinivan

David Paul Guinivan, 68, passed away in his home surrounded by family on June 5, 2010. He was the husband of Sandra (Worssam) Guinivan with whom he shared forty-eight years of marriage. Born on April 17, 1942 in Beverly, he was the son of the late Paul P. and Gertrude (Martin) Guinivan. David was raised and educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School in 1961. He also attended Norwich University. David had been a resident of Danvers for forty-five years and a communicant of the St. Richard Parish. He had been a salesman in the printing business for much of his life. David started his own firm in the early 1970’s; D.G. Graphics, Inc, which he ran until 2008. David was a friend of Bill W. for twenty-eight years. He was an avid supporter of N.E. sports teams and his grandchildren’s activities. He especially enjoyed taking his entire family to Disney World over Thanksgiving. Besides his wife, Sandra, he is survived by five daughters and their families, Laurie, Wayne and Matthew Pellerin of Danvers, Julie, Tom, Sean, Allison and Caitlin Tivnan of Danvers, Kelley, Kyle and Ashley McIntire of Newburyport, Holly, Julia, Victoria and Sarah Potter of Magnolia and Christy, Phil, Megan, Emma and John David Rhind of Wilmington, two brothers, Paul Guinivan, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Danvers and John H. Guinivan of Lowell and two sisters, Ann Dion and Jane Guinivan, both of Beverly. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Wed., June 9, 2010 in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Vst. Hrs are Tues. from 4PM-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
