Debora McLaughlin Twiss

Debora J. (McLaughlin) Twiss, 50, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 8, 2013 following a fall at home. Born in Salem on June 20, 1963, she was the daughter of Claire (McGillis) McLaughlin of Danvers and the late Edward F. McLaughlin. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a 1981 graduate of Danvers High School. A longtime Peabody resident, Debbie was employed by Analogic for more than twenty-five years. She was an active volunteer with Peabody Western Little League and a member of the Polish Club in Danvers. In addition to her mother, she leaves her daughter, Jessica E. Twiss of Peabody, her former husband, Iain Twiss of Peabody, and a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward A. McLaughlin. Her Funeral Service will be Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10AM in the Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Jessica E. Twiss Scholarship Fund, c/o North Shore Bank, 48 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.
Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am at the loss of Debbie. Her smile, personality and especially her laugh will be truly missed.
