Dennis W. "Buff" Griffin, 63, of 33 Wenham St. Danvers, MA passed on Saturday July 10, 2010 in the Hospice Kaplan house after a lengthy battle with Cancer. Born in Danvers on September 29, 1946. He was the son of late Eben A. Griffin and Doris (MacDonald) Griffin. He was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army, then worked for Delta Air Lines for many years up until his retirement. He was a member of the Amity Lodge as well as the Calvary Chuch in Danvers He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Shawn and Kelly Corbett-Griffin of Danvers, his son Jesse Griffin of Florida, his brother and sister-in-law David and Janice Griffin of Danvers, 5 grandchildren, ShiAnn, Kevin, Mathieu, Jesse Jr, Ryley, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Nathan Griffin and Nathalie Spear. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday July 15, 2010 at 10:00am in Walnut Grove Cemetery on Sylvan St. in Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dennis Griffin's name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
dennis one of the best and most honest people i worked with at delta .you will be missed by many at delta .you were surely one of a kind .almissed griffins bar at the lot many fond memories of you with puffy also we sere had a blast on the midnight shift ray mansell
My condolences go out to Dennis’s family at this very sad time..I worked with Dennis for many years at Delta and always enjoyed being around him..I’ll never forget all the cribbage games we would enjoy during break times..He was just a real fun guy to be around at all times..May he rest in peace..

I and my family knew Buff in DEN where I worked together at Delta Operations. My son and daughter were really fond of Buff at BBQ’s and functions at our house. Am sad at his passing and offeing our condolences to all his family. Will lift a toast to him this evening and remember all the good times we had together.
Buff Your smile and laugh will never be forgotten. Thanks for being some one to look up to when I was an 18 year old punk on the ramp in BOS. May you rest in peace Saint
