  9. My deepest sympathy on the passing of Don. I worked with Don at HAP and he was the sweetest yet most sarcastic guy ever! His love for his family was obvious as well as his love for reading. He always had a “good” book in his hand, unlike the CRAP he said I liked to read. We will never forget him or his antics. He is missed dearly and will never be forgotten. The world has lost a great man and Heaven gained an amazing Angel. Rest easy Don.

  10. It was a pleasure working with Don, his great sense of humor and sarcasm will be missed. My sincere sympathy to you and your feeling.

  12. Tenderly… may time heal your sorrow, Gently… may friends ease your pain, Softly… may peace replace heartache, And may warmest memories remain. Isa. 25:8 says He (Jehovah God) will swallow up death forever and wipe all tears from all faces. With My Deepest Sympathy in your loss.

  13. I was sorry to see that Don had passed. It had been over 25 years since I talked to him, but remember his friendship when we worked together back in the early 1980s at Burger King in Fairlane. Don always had a calm way about him, and was a really good person. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

  14. We are so sorry for your loss. We loved seeing Don rollerblading through the neighborhood and then seeing Brian doing the same. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  15. Michelle&Family – Don greeted me most mornings by stating ‘you ARE here!’ when he located me at my own desk (as I was often found at the desk of other employees). He brought his good humor to work each day & often made me laugh due to his stories. Thank you for sharing him with us here at HAP.

  16. Michelle and family, we are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Don. Don always treated me and others with the utmost respect growing up. I have fond memories of playing sports with him during family gatherings or simply listening to the Tigers or Red Wings on a transistor radio. We know how much you will miss Don, but you can take comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he had together. May God bless you and your family during this time and always. With much love, Ron, Ruthie and Sojourner.

  17. I’m so sorry for your loss. Don was the kind of genuinely nice and good person that is just too rare in this world. He was a great friend to my brother, and my entire family will carry many fond memories of Don with us. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
