Elaine M. Conley

March 22, 1972 ~ October 26, 2024
Resided in:
Topsfield, Massachusetts
Elaine M. (Walsh) Conley, 52, of Topsfield, died Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston following a year-long battle with leukemia. She was the wife of the late Chelsea Police Detective Scott M. Conley, who predeceased her on March 15, 2024.
Born in Waltham on March 22, 1972, she was the daughter of the late William Walsh and Marie (Graham) Walsh of Burlington (partner John Aste). In addition to her mother, she leaves four beautiful children, Aidan, Max, Keira, and Shea Conley, all of Topsfield, whom she adored above all.
She was raised and educated in Watertown, was a graduate of Watertown High School and furthered her education with a Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College and a Master’s Degree from Tufts University. She then went on to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist.
A dedicated, supportive “mama”, you could always find Elaine proudly cheering on her kids from the sidelines of every sports game and gymnastics meet. She had a gift for making those around her feel valued and loved. Her strength and resilience were matched only by the grace and dignity with which she lived her life every day. Her unique sense of humor and infectious laugh will be deeply missed.
Elaine was a beloved sister who was treasured by her siblings and their spouses, William and Patty Walsh of California, Karen and John Buschini of Lexington, Diane and Jack Fucci of Lexington, and Kevin and Catherine Walsh of Braintree, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Ed Conley of Falmouth, her brothers-in-law, Ed Conley and his wife Andrea of Gloucester, Sean Conley of Marblehead and Eric Conley and his wife Melissa of New Hampshire, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and cherished friends. She was especially connected to her tight-knit community in Topsfield and had many close friends in the Tri-Town area.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10:00AM in Saint Richard’s Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited.
