Eleanor Mahoney

Eleanor M. (Binda) Mahoney, 66, passed away on June 23, 2010 in Salem Hospital. She was the wife of Ronald Mahoney, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Malden on April 2, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Victoria (Tognazzi) and the late Egidio and Marietta Binda. She was raised and educated in Malden and graduated from Malden High School in 1961. Eleanor lived in Beverly for the past 12 years. For 33 years she was a resident of Danvers, where she raised her family, and was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church. She was employed by Eaton Apothecary on Elm St. in Danvers for many years. Beside her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Ron and Mary Mahoney of NJ, three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Keith Fumarola of Beverly, Jennifer and Glen Kimmel of Ipswich and Kristin and Jason Bresnahan of Peabody, a brother Peter Binda of Topsfield and two sisters, Shirley Carl of NH and Mary Feetham of Malden, eleven grandchildren, Justin, Patrick, Collin, Carissa, Brandon, Zachary, Alex, Jordan, Carri, Kate and Leah and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Mon. at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Vst. hrs are Sun 3PM-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to N.S. Cancer Center, 102 Endicott St., Danvers, MA 01923.
