Elizabeth MacKinnon

Elizabeth F. MacKinnon, 95, passed away on May 20, 2010 in Sutton Hill Nursing Home, North Andover, where she had resided for the past two years. Prior to Sutton Hill, Elizabeth had resided in the German Rest Home in Lawrence for over twelve years. Born in Middleton on March 16, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (MacInnis) MacKinnon. She was raised and educated in Danvers. Elizabeth was employed as a stitcher at the Ideal Bay Shoe for many years. She also worked at the Danvers Senior Center for many years. She is survived by a nephew, John J. MacKinnon, Jr. of Lawrence. She was predeceased by siblings, Violet, John, Margaret and Daniel MacKinnon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Mon., May 24, 2010 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours will be held from 9:30am-10:30am prior to the Mass at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Danvers Senior Center, 25 Stone St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
