Elwood F. Moulton, 90, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 29, 2010. He was the loving husband of Eva M. (Gott) Moulton, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. Born in South Gardiner, Maine on March 24, 1920, he was the son of the late Forest and Ruth (Crosby) Moulton. He was raised and educated in Gardiner and was a graduate of Gardiner High School, Class of 1939. He went on to serve honorably as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Moulton worked as a baker for many years in several North Shore locations. A Topsfield resident for the late thirteen years, he resided in Danvers for many years and also in New Hampshire. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved children, Sherry Moulton of Salem, Carroll Moulton of Boston, and Mark Moulton of St. Petersburg, FL, and a sister, Helen Webster of Peabody. As requested, funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Moulton’s name may be made to the Salvation Army, 25 Shawmut Ave, Canton, MA 02021.
