Ernest F. Daniels

Ernest F. Daniels, 62, of Beverly, died Saturday evening, February 26, 2011 in Beverly Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Valerie (Freeman) Daniels of Beverly. Born in Everett on June 12, 1942, he was the son of the late Thelma (Richardson) (Daniels) Whelpley and the late Frederick P. Daniels. He was raised and educated in Middleton and was a graduate of the Essex Agricultural School. Mr. Daniels had been a resident of Danvers and Beverly most of his life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, James Daniels of Danville, NH, Kevin Daniels of Winterville, NC, Laurie Ventine of Middleton, and Heather Russell of Hinsdale, IL, two brothers, Perry Daniels of Ft. Myers, FL and Frederick Daniels of Bridgewater, VA, many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. As requested, funeral services are private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Daniels’ name may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements are by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
