Estelle Joann (Jankoski) Trueira, 93, passed away on January 9, 2014 in Greenbriar Terrace Nursing Home in Nashua, New Hampshire. Born in Saugus on April 17, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Annie (Katawicz) Jankoski. She was raised and educated in Danvers. Estelle was employed with the Hogan Regional Center for 23 years and retired as the head seamstress. She has also been employed with the Peabody Public Schools in the lunch programs. She is survived by three children, Frank Trueira and his wife Beverly of NH, Sandra Grace and her husband Raymond of NH and Carol Freitas of Illinois, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and sister, Katherine Freeman of Hamilton. She was predeceased by her sisters, Irene Thorner, Mary Conley, Sophie Tonge, Anne Bushby and brothers Barney, Tony and Robert. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
