Eva B. (Niebrzydowski), Lang, 95, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late William R. “Bob” Lang, with whom she shared nearly seventy years of marriage. Born in Lynn on July 27, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Radziewicz) Niebrzydowski. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. A Danvers resident for more than seventy years, she had made her home in Hamilton with her daughter for the last four years. As a young woman, she worked as a bookkeeper for her sister at Modern Electric in Lynn, and later worked at Almy’s Department Store in Danvers. She enjoyed knitting, Bingo, scratch tickets, the card game Scat, and a plate of fried clams. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching her great-grandchildren play baseball. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Barbara and Joseph Scuderi of Hamilton, Donna and John Reynolds of Florida, and William and Maureen Lang Jr. of Texas, five grandchildren, William Lang, Colleen Hendy, William Quimby, Karen Herrick, and Lisa MacRae, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and sisters, Anthony, Josephine, Stacia, Stephania, Jennie, Helen, Phyllis, Anna, and Genevieve. Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 10AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-8PM in the funeral home.
