Evelyn J. Kulakowski Levesque

Evelyn Jean Levesque, age 92, died peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the Care Dimensions Kaplan House in Danvers, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 2, 1934, in Peabody, and was the beloved daughter of the late George and Margaret (Wright) Stewart. She was the wife of the late Richard Thomas Kulakowski and the late Walter Omer Levesque.

She is survived by her six sons: George Kulakowski and his companion, Winifred Kummer, of California; Kenneth Kulakowski; Mark and Lynne Kulakowski of Peabody; Richard Kulakowski and his companion, Darlene Wells, of New Hampshire; Bob and Dee Kulakowski of Colorado; and Walter and Robyn Kulakowski of Maine. She also had many cherished memories with her lifelong friend, the late Gloria Cream.

In the early years of her career, she worked in the Salem Hospital nursery, a role that brought her immense joy. She and her husband, Walter, owned “The Morning Call” restaurant in Salem, Massachusetts, where she shared her love of creating unique dishes for her customers. She also spent many years working as a receptionist at Health and Education Services in Beverly, Massachusetts.

She often said the greatest joy in her life was her six sons, of whom she was so proud. She created many happy, loving memories with her 10 grandchildren: Monique, Mark, Matthew, Jackie, Katie, Chrissy, Breanna, Brittany, Richie, and Adam. She was also “Nana” to 13 great-grandchildren, with a new blessing to join the family in May.

All those who touched Evelyn’s life are invited to visiting hours on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.  Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 10:00am in the funeral home.
