Evelyn E. (Bastarache) Kinsvater, 88, died on April 17, 2011 in Masconomet Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late John Kinsvater. Born in Lynn on March 13, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Damien and Alice (Legere)Bastarache. She was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from St. Jean High School in 1940. Evelyn was a kindergarten teacher and taught at Little Tots Kindergarten and Nursery School in Middleton for many years. She was very active in the Middleton Library and delivered books to shut-ins. Evelyn was a communicant of St. Agnes Church in Middleton. She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, John Jr. and Julye Kinsvater of NH, three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and James Grigg of Danvers, Janice and Donald Dansreau of Middleton, NH and Diane and Christopher Blunt of Georgetown, a sister Sr. Eleine Bastarache, six grandchildren, Joshua, Elise, William, Shawn, Mikayla and Ariana, a great grandson, Trent and her extended family at Masconomet healthcare Center in Topsfield. She was predeceased by siblings, Omer Bastarache, Lucielle Bernier, Doris Bernard, Ann Marie Bourque and two grandchildren Brandon and Nicholas Grigg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on April 20, 2011 in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Vst. Hrs are 4-8PM on Tues. at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 50 Federal St # 602, Boston, MA 02110-2502.

Dear John, Linda, Janice, and Diane, I am so so sorry to read this today. Your mom was a wonderful person and so good to all who knew her. You must know by now she has everyone in heaven ROFL….:) Evie,May you rest in peace. You will be missed.
