Fabiano Luiz Alves

Fabiano Luiz Alves, 44, of Peabody, died Sunday evening, December 18, 2022 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Elsabel Rincon, with whom he shared eleven years of marriage. Born in Conselheiro, M.G., Brazil, he was the son of Maria (de Lima) Alves of Brazil and the late Jose Alves. He was raised and educated in Brazil and came to the United States in 2005, settling on the North Shore. A longtime Peabody resident, he was self-employed as a painting contractor. Fabiano was an avid soccer fan and a wonderful chef. He was a devoted practitioner and teacher to many of capoeira. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves three children, Sofia and Lucas Alves, both of Peabody, and Caroliny Alves of Brazil, his sister, Daniele Alves Souza of Scituate, his mother-in-law, Emma Rincon of Salem, his father-in-law, Javier Rincon of Lynn, and many dear friends. Visiting hours are Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 5-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private.
