Frances A. Paterson

Frances A. (Germonprez) Paterson, 82, passed away on May 26, 2014 in Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Paterson. Born in Melrose on September 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Julia (MacKinnon) Germonprez. Frances was raised and educated in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree from Russell Sage College in New York. Frances moved to Topsfield with her husband to raise their family, residing there until building a home in Boxford. Frances was active in the Boxford Garden Club. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and David Lynch of Boxford and Lauren and Desmond Hewitt of Fair Hill, Maryland, two grandchildren, Jessica and James Lynch and her sister, Sylvia Teschler of Michigan. She was predeceased by her brother David Germonprez. Her Funeral Services are private. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Frances’ name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
