Frederick Ronald Moore, age 90, of Newburyport, died peacefully at home on December 18, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Nancy O. Moore. Born in Haverhill on May 29, 1933, he was the son of the late Carl and Alecia (Payne) Moore. Ron, as he was affectionately known, lived a life marked by dedication, sincerity, and a profound love for his family. Raised and educated in Medford, Ron was a graduate of Medford High School. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He studied at the Wentworth Institute and his professional life was characterized by his longstanding career in the HVAC industry culminating with his retirement from United Refrigeration of Medford. A former resident of Danvers and a long-time resident of Topsfield, Ron spent his recent years in Newburyport. Throughout his life, Ron was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, which was the cornerstone of his existence. He took immense pride in nurturing wisdom and thoughtfulness in all of his grandchildren, whom he adored. Ron's passion for photography reflected his love for capturing life's fleeting moments in his volumes of photo albums which he readily shared with others. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his beloved wife, Nancy, their two sons, Ronald his wife Lynne of Boxford and Thomas and his wife Laurie of Georgetown, six grandchildren, Alicia Kelley and her husband Ryan, Austin, Alexander, Evangeline, Genevieve, and Annaliese Moore, and many nieces and nephews. Ron was the brother of the late Bob Moore and Richard Moore, as well as the beloved late sisters Roberta Anthony and Janet Ann Alberti. Services for Ron will be announced at a later date.
