With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gary N. Sbordone, age 69, of Kittery, Maine, on October 5, 2024.
Gary was born and raised in the vibrant community of Nyack, NY, where he graduated from Nyack High School in 1973. He pursued his passion for healing at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he earned his doctorate, marking the beginning of a distinguished career. For over two decades, Gary made a lasting impact as a respected chiropractor in the greater Boston area, ultimately establishing his own private practice, where he dedicated himself to the well-being of his patients.
In his later years, Gary embraced new opportunities working alongside his eldest son, Gary Jr., and his youngest, Matthew, in addition to spending 20+ years at the local Ford dealership in Beverly, MA.
Renowned for his engaging conversations and insightful anecdotes, Gary enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering love for his family formed the cornerstone of his life.
As we gather to bid farewell to Gary, let us honor the enduring legacy of love, kindness, and inspiration he leaves behind. Though he has departed from our sight, his spirit will forever illuminate our paths, guiding us through the intricacies of life.
Gary is survived by his cherished children, Kristyn Ploszay, Gary Sbordone Jr., Matthew Sbordone, and Daniel Sbordone, along with his devoted siblings, Frank Sbordone and Pam, and his 8 grandchildren.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10:30AM in Saint Rose of Lima Church Park St., Topsfield. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4:00-7:00PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
