Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Maureen and the Gibbons Family:
Margaret and I would like to extend our deepest condolences of the death of George. We are proud to consider George and Maureen our best friends. The friendship began many years ago in Peabody. Our memories include the growth of our children, the celebrations together of many special events, and regular communications that brought much joy.
George was a talented educator and an avid reader, a spontaneous voice on sports and politics, as well as an engaged father and grandfather. We were especially aware of the great love that was always evident between Maureen and George.
    Love and prayers,
    Dick and Margaret Connors

  2. Maureen and Peter Lueke along with Craig Molly and Jennifer wish to give a tribute to the Gibbons family. Growing up with the Gibbons family was truly special. I (Maureen Connors Lueke)was fortunate to spend time with my brother and sisters with all seven of the children. Mr Gibbons always went out of his way to be kind to all of us. My memories of playing in their backyard and having fun will always be remembered. Playing on sports teams with the Gibbons kids was special and always receiving encouragement from Mr Gibbons and Mrs. Gibbons was great. After I was married with my own children I was lucky to live just a few houses down from Kathy and Rich Sterchelle. We shared many memories with the kids and the family. Because of George and Maureen’s love together and their friendship with my parents Margaret and Dick Connors we will always treasure the special bond of love. George Gibbons your love and kindness will stay with us forever. Love the Lueke family❤️

  3. Oh Maureen, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember George stopping by us on the golf course just to say ” hi” to us. May he rest in peace now, maybe he can play some golf up there with Ellen. Take care of yourself, Maureen and God Bless your beautiful family.
