George Joseph Tardiff

formally of North Attleboro, George Joseph Tardiff, 67, passed away on July 6, 2012 in his home due to a long battle with Cancer. He was the husband of Sandra (Morriseau) Tardiff with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born on August 30, 1944 in Central Falls, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Beatrice (LaMontagne) Tardiff. He was employed at the North Attleboro School System for 10 ½ years as Head Custodian and then went onto be a Parts Driver for Car Quest in North Attleboro where he spent the rest of his few years before moving to the Danvers area. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Joseph Hughes of South Attleboro and Chrissy and Paul Bogrett of Danvers, nine grandchildren, Branden, Ryan, Ashley, Joey, Hailey, Robin, Courtney, Kurt & Nikki. A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Boston Children’s Hospital at http://giving.childrenshospital.org in George’s name.

George is never more than a glance away from us when we look at our Wedding Pictures in our dining room. With deep sympathy, we will be making a donation to the Children’s Hospital in George’s name.
