Grampa George was a funny, goofball, sweetheart ALWAYS joking around, playing a prank or being sarcastic. I will never forget him taking all my cousins & I to the camp ground. I’ll never forget him falling asleep reading the news paper on the couch. There was NEVER a sad moment when you were with him. He was always making everyone laugh & going with the flow. He always said “do what makes you happy,” which I will try to live by now. He was always eating candy, donuts, sweets, or ANYTHING & I definitely got my love for food from him. I will miss his big kisses & “wassssupppp” . He was such a family man & I will miss him ALOT !!! I love you so much Grampa & I TRUELY know you wouldn’t want any of us to be sad for you so I won’t, I will try to carry on your funny jokes & try to liven up the room like u always did. RIP <3
I always had so much fun when grandpa was around us. He was just like a kid! He was always getting us to laugh with his jokes. He would babysit bus when my parents were out of town.. Bless his heart because we were a handful! He would come watch us ski. Swim with us in the pool. Come visit us at school on grandparents day. He was so happy go Lucky and I never saw anything get him down. I loved his campground and telling stories around the campfire with all my cousins. Your spirit will surely live on through all of us. I love you grandpa. Rest in peace.
I fell in love with my lovely wife the first time I met George. He welcomed me to this family and made feel at home. Thanks Georg!
It is said that we die twice, once when we draw our last breath and again when someone says our name for the last time. We don’t leave this world until the last person that knew us has also passed. The essence of who we were lives on in the memories of those that knew and loved us.
Looking into the faces of George’s grand children and great grand children, I am reminded that he will still be with us for quite some time.
I love the way he always signed our cars D.a.D. with the cases upper then lower then upper with periods placed in between.
I met George with his dear friend Irene at the Milano sr. house dinners on tuesday. this guy was a kind hearted gentlmen who had lots of fun at the dinner table. Until he Irene went to a nursing home. she was special to him and he was lost without her.i tried helping him to get out and join the guys in the american legion,KFC etc. and he tells me after going one time “they all do nothing but drink, and I don’t drink”. so I said george you
don’t have to drink booze, you can drink soda. I noticed that george had not been in the past few weeks and found out just this past tuesday that
he had passed. im so sorry for your loss we will miss him at the Milano house dinner. RIP
George you will be missed.
