Gerard J. Natale, 78, passed away on December 9, 2014. He was the husband of Beatrice (Baldassaro) Natale, of Newburyport. Born in Boston on November 24, 1936, he was the son of the late Mario and Mary (Viscione) Natale. Gerard graduated from East Boston High School in 1955 and attended Suffolk University. Gerard started his career with the Commonwealth of Mass., Right of Way Bureau. He was then employed with the Town of Danvers as a part-time Assessor. For over ten years he was the Chief Assessor for the City of Beverly. Gerard then started his own business, Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. in North Andover. Besides his wife, Beatrice, he is survived by four children and their spouses, Gerald J. Natale, Jr. and Betsey Guest-Natale of Haverhill, Elena and David Stasey of Rowley, Christian and Kathleen Natale of Danvers and Steven and Trisha Natale of NJ, a step-daughter, Kara Stoning and her husband Brian of NH, two siblings, Ralph Natale of NH and Arlene Potenza of Revere, fourteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Geraldine (Corrado) Natale. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Gerard’s name to the Alzheimer’s’ Assoc., 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472
