Gloria J (LeClerc) L’heureux, 89, of Danvers, passed away on October 23, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. L’heureux with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Salem on November 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mathilda (Guerrette) LeClerc. Gloria had been a longtime resident of Salem graduating from Saint Joseph Academy. Gloria had worked at the former Naumkeag Trust Bank, Shaughnessy Kaplan Hospital and had been a receptionist for Dr. Fang in Salem for many years. Gloria was the ultimate hostess. She welcomed into her home many engagements, birthday parties and even a wedding.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa L’heureux-Ahmed and Gregory Ahmed of Danvers, her daughter-in-law, Amy L’heureux of New Hampshire, her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Reardon, Ethan McLean, Rebecca Ahmed, Elizabeth McLean, and Timothy and Mark L’heureux and nephew, Ronald Gagnon and his wife, Ann of Danvers. She was predeceased by her son Dennis L’heureux and siblings and their spouses, Cecile and Raymond Blanchette, Theresa and Adelard Gagnon and Rita and Henry Stepchin.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Salem. Visitation will be held for 4-7PM on Tuesday October 29, 2024 in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gloria’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA, 01923.
