Gloria T. (Healey) Bresnahan, 84, died peacefully following a brief illness on October 17, 2010 with her family by her side in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Timothy J. Bresnahan, Jr., with whom she shared over thirty years of marriage. Born in Lynn on April 27, 1926, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Reichardt) Healey. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She had been a Danvers resident for nearly sixty years. Gloria was a well known antique dealer and a part of the Salt Marsh Antiques family. She was a member of the Over Par golf league at New Meadows in Topsfield for more than forty years. When she wasn't out scouting for antiques, she enjoyed playing bridge or golfing with her family. She is survived by her daughters Paula Bresnahan and Anne J. Bresnahan, both of Danvers, her sons Timothy J. Bresnahan III and his wife Lori of Bradford and James K. Bresnahan and his wife Suzanne of Danvers, her grandchildren Lauren A. Saraiva of Jamaica Plain, Susan M. Bresnahan of Methuen and Cara and Nicholas Bresnahan of Bradford, her sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Frank Flaherty of Olney MD, and her sister-in-law Millie Healey of Lynnfield. She was predeceased by her brothers John Healey of Lynn and Fred Healey of Naples, FL. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 9AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria's name to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.

Gloria was a welcome bridge player at the Beverly Senior Center and will be missed. We were surprised to learn of her passing. We all send our sympathy to her family.
