Harry R. "Zeke" Lanzillo, 84, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House. He was the loving husband of Gloria (Foy) Lanzillo for almost 60 years . Born in Boston on February 24, 1926, he was the son of the late Harry and Carolyn (Rossicone) Lanzillo. He was raised and educated in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and graduated from Dartmouth College after the War. Harry resided with his family in Melrose for many years, and had lived in Danvers for the last 34 years. In 1957, he became one of a small group of pioneers who established the swimming pool market in New England. In a career that spanned fifty years, Harry was responsible for the design, sales, and construction of over 5 ,000 pools , for which he received numerous national awards. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lisamarie Shaler and her husband James of Billerica, Nina Lanzillo Leach and her husband David of Watchung, NJ, and Dana Lanzillo and his wife Jane of Newton, his grandchildren, Nathan Brodeur, Burke Lanzillo, Isabella Lanzillo, and Timothy and Carolyn Leach, his great-grandchildren, Thomas, Madeleine, Owen, Lucas, and Charlotte, his brothers, Kenneth Lanzillo of NH and Walter Lanzillo of CA, and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Christian Lanzillo and brother of the late Ernest Lanzillo. As requested, funeral services are private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Harry's name may be made to The Kaplan House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923 and to Globe Santa Fund Trust, c/o Citizens Bank, P.O.
