Helen Louise Phillips

Helen Louise (Small) Phillips, 91, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Sandwich. She was the wife of the late Albert C. Phillips. Born in Danvers on July 25, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Katherine (Hunt) Small. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of the Essex Agricultural School, Class of 1942. She had resided in Beverly for more than thirty years and then in Naples, Maine until 2001 when she and her late husband returned to the area, settling in Ipswich. Mrs. Phillips had been employed as an assembler at Sylvania and at Varian in Beverly. She leaves two daughters, Nancy Lawrence of Sandwich and Gail Phillips of Gloucester, a son, Dana Phillips of Gloucester, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. At Mrs. Phillips request, services are private and there are no visiting hours.
