J.A. Roland Beaulieu, 85, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Jeannette (LeBrun) Beaulieu, with whom he shared more than fifty years of marriage. Born in Beverly on Sept. 30, 1924, he was the son of the late Cerice and Leda Beaulieu. He was raised and educated in New Brunswick, Canada and returned to the United States as a young man. He lived for many years in Salem and Danvers before moving to Brooksby Village in Peabody five years ago. For many years, he was a supervisor for Metropolitan and Quinn Brothers in the building moving industry. A communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, he was an accomplished musician, enjoyed playing cards, and walking his dog, Fuzzy. He is survived by eight children and their spouses, Yvette Hayes of Beverly, Joanne and David Brown of Peabody, Suzanne and Don Nelson of Beaverton, OR, Denise and Ralph Ciruolo of Danvers, Claire and James Darrah of Peabody, Paul Beaulieu of Peabody, Roland and Eileen Beaulieu of Littleton, and Raymond and Kathy Beaulieu of Littleton, his sisters and brother, Gertrude, Yolande, Andrea, Gracia, and Roger, 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, William “Jerry Hayes. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
