Catherine J. “Jackie” (MacDonald) Neary died Friday evening, March 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Edmund J. Neary. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annie (Trainor) MacDonald and a proud Danvers resident since the age of 8. Until her marriage she worked at Sylvania, Danvers. After her family was grown she worked at EG&G Salem. She will be remembered as a sweet, kind, and generous lady whose family was most important to her. She leaves three children, Betsy and her husband Bob Young of Beverly, Barbara and her husband John Sturtevant of Danvers, and Matthew Neary of Danvers, two grandsons, Brian Young and his wife Kristin and Dan Neary, three great-grandchildren, Riley, Nolan and Cecilia Young, a sister, Kathleen Healy of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings James, Joan, Hugh, Charles, and Roger. Visiting hours are Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4-5:45PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. A service will follow immediately at 6PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.   4. Have very fond memories of Jack as a kid growing up on North Putnam
    Street in Danvers. I always thought she was beautiful.

  5. So sorry to hear of the passing of Jackie. I lived across the street and we raised our two boys together. I loved Jackie very much as she was a wonderful friend and we had many interests t hat we shared. She will be sorely missed. Shirley MacKinnon
