James Patrick O’Shea, 76, died peacefully at home on Friday, November 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Nancy A. (Scole) O’Shea, with whom he shared fifty-five years of marriage. Born in Chelsea on May 24, 1939, he was the son of the late James and Violet (Parsons) O’Shea. He was raised and educated in Chelsea and Maine and had been a Danvers resident since 1964. Jim was a self-employed milkman for over 30 years. He also worked as a house painter. When Jim was not working, he devoted all his time to his loving wife, children and grandchildren. Jim was well known as a fun loving practical joker who could always get a good laugh out of his friends and family. He loved taking trips up north with his wife by his side. Lake Winnipesaukee and Vermont were his favorites. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was very creative and made hundreds of original airplanes, and trucks. He also loved animals, especially his beloved dog Frankie. In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, James O’Shea and his wife Deborah of Danvers, Kathleen Hayden and her husband Kevin of Newton, NH, and Tammy Tinkham and her husband David of Danvers, his grandchildren, Heather O’Shea, Alicia and Alexis Tinkham, and Scott and Michael Hayden, three sisters, Dorothy Gasior, Elizabeth Bowman, and Maureen Adams, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia White. His Funeral Service will be Thursday, November12, 2015 at noon in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5-8PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.   2. I was very saddened to receive the news of Mr O’Shea’s passing. (he will always be Mr O’Shea to me) My fondest memories will always be around the 4th of July and the fireworks display that always seemed to come from our side of the circle. (not to mention a few rockets that landed on the Hayfords house) and seeing him drive off in the morning in the Milk Truck. To the entire O’Shea family my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  4. Many memories of Salvatore Circle. Your family was always known to me as the “cute little kids that moved into Cosgrove’s house”. Your Dad was so handsome and your Mom such a beauty. Life was great and easy then. So sad that we are now loosing our parents that raised us in such a great place to be young. My condolences to you all. Remember the good times of your family’s life.
