Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I knew COL Russell from the time I was a young Captain. I had many interactions with him over the years – all of them enjoyable. He epitomized the phrase “an officer and a gentleman”. My sincere condolence to the Russell family. He will be missed by all of us “old soldiers” who saw him from time-to-time at YD Dugout Club meetings.

  2. Sad to say Good-bye to this man of Honor, Integrity, and Service. I am proud to have served under General “Gentleman Jim” Russell. I have and will always admire his legacy.

  3. I am deeply sorry for the loss of Grampy. I have many great memories of spending time and visiting him with Emily on Long Lake and in Danvers. Sending thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time.
