  1. So sad to lose this beautiful lady. She was everything a woman should be. We will miss her beautiful smile and kind and caring way. She always made us feel so loved when we saw her. Sending love and prayers to all the family. Love you. Kurt and Donna

  2. Visiting with Aunt Jane was like experiencing a beautiful, sunny day. She lit up our lives and the world around her. She consistently had something positive and uplifting to say, and I always felt better after being with her. She warmed our hearts and lives with her her big, radiant smile, her sparkling, knowing eyes, her wisdom and her caring heart. Nothing was more important than her dear husband and incredible family. Aunt Jane knew what really matters in life! What a wonderful legacy. Although not an “official” niece, she always made me feel as such. I wish I could have said goodbye. She touched so many lives, including mine, and I am so grateful for her and her wonderful family.
    -Love, Chrissy

  3. I have so many memories of Jane. I loved spending time with her at “camp”, skiing in NH, or hanging in the neighborhood. After the snow of 78.

Years ago when my kids were in pre-school she and Bud would surprise me with a visit on their way to Charlottesville to see their friends the Hoys. they wouldn’t call ahead but just get of the highway and look up my address in the phone book. The problem was there were 2 Charles Rogers listed. Jane and Bud’s first stop was Charles Rodgers, not our house. Jane make a new friend that day in Winchester Va. I think she and Bud stopped in 3 or 4 times to have a quick visit. I loved it.

My favorite memory of Jane is when she would come through the yards calling ” hello”. She’s come up the stairs and come in the back door. My Mom would stop what she was doing and we would sit and visit. They would then start planning the next gathering event, drinks, dinner, cookouts didn’t matter. Just the Fun. She always knew how to make it fun… Ill miss her on my next trip to town

  4. Jane and Bud Larivee were friends to my parents Evelyn and Ed Krause for more than 50 years. She was also the librarian at St. John’s Prep when I was there and because her friendship with my parents, she kind of looked out for me while I was there. Wonderful person. My thoughts go out to all the Larivees.
