Jane (Phaneuf) Greene

Jane Greene, 74, passed away in the loving arms of her daughter Tina Davis on May 30, 2014. Jane was born on March 18, 1940 in Salem Hospital to Alice E. DePlospo and Emile J. Phaneuf. She attended Middleton High School and worked at The McFadden Nursing Home. She was devoted to her family being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. It was one of life's great joys to her. All she wanted in life was for all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to be happy. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Madison, Tina Fano Davis, and Emma Tracey Phaneuf Healey, her sons, John Fano and Allan Greene III, her grandchildren, Vanessa, Christine, Danny, Matt, Janalle and Briana, her great grandchildren Michael, Alexis, Thaddeus, Aliyah, Aurora, Orion and Jonathon, Jr.. She will be missed by us all. She made us all aware that family is and always will be the most important thing in life. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan Green II, her son, Joseph Fano and her daughter Kathleen Pontbriand. To my family; Ma had a great life. In the last years of her life, Tina more than anyone, you made a home of love for her. To this I have to say “Thank You Tina” from all of us. Without you being there for her, Life would not have been as loving and caring as it was. Much Love and Gratitude for all you did for Ma. I know she loved us all. She was very thankful for being in her own home because of you Tina. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden. Burial is private. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial luncheon at 11AM, June 12, 2014 at the American Legion, Post 69, 368 Pleasant St., Malden.
