Jane (Tarr) (Sullivan) Piotrowski, 70, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in her home following a brief illness. She was the wife of Arthur Piotrowski, with whom she shared sixteen years of marriage. Born in Newburyport on June 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Osmond and Lois (Vance) Tarr. She was raised and educated in Danvers and had been a Haverhill resident before making her home in Peabody more than twenty years ago. A woman with a big heart, she was loved by everyone and was dedicated to family and friends. In addition to her husband, she leaves her children, Debbie Hockman of PA, Cindy Carrick of Marblehead, Tina White of Peabody, Monica Sullivan of NH, Paul “Skip” Turner of Haverhill, Russ Turner of Peabody, Boliver Sullivan of PA, and John Piotrowski of Peabody, her siblings, Mary Parker, Lois Parker, Alberta Lindsey, Virginia Knowlton, Marilyn Griffin, Marion Michaud, George Tarr, and Richard Tarr, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a husband, John Sullivan, and her siblings Helen Tarr, Osmond Tarr, and Baby Billy. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, January 28, 2011 at 12:30PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will precede the service from 10:30AM-12:15PM. RIP Grammy. I came home yesterday after spending three weeks at Dads. I know you have finally been called home to be with Grampy and will be watching down on all of us. I got to read your eulogy. I know you heard it and would think it was beautiful. I love you forever.
