Janet (LaRoche) Tropeano

Janet (LaRoche) Tropeano, 78, passed away on May 28, 2014 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was the beloved wife of Richard E. Tropeano with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Born in Malden on November 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Trapp) LaRoche. Janet was raised and educated in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. She went on to North Shore Community College, studying accounting. Janet had enjoyed the art program at the Danvers Senior Center.
Besides her husband Richard, she is survived by three daughters, Lisa Tropeano-Trinagale of Wakefield, Susan Tropeano and her husband John Lovatt of Danvers and Diann Tropeano Sanborn of Danvers, six grandchildren, Lauren and James Tringale, Zachary Tropeano-Lovatt and Drew, Zoe and Will Sanborn, a great grandson Luka Tringale, she is also survived by her sister, Olive Izzo of PA. She was predeceased by her brother Donald LaRoche.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Janet’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
