Jean C. Reynolds
February 13, 1936 ~ December 24, 2023
DANVERS- Jean C. Reynolds passed away on December 24, 2023 at the age of 87. She was the beloved daughter of the late William T. and Evelyn (MacDonald) Reynolds.
Jean graduated from the Salem Hospital Nursing School and spent her life as a registered nurse, working at North Shore Medical Center and the Greater Lynn Visiting Nurse Association. Jean loved sports, enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She had volunteered at the Danvers Senior Center for several years. She spent her entire life caring for and in service to others. She was devoted to her many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her brother David C. Reynolds and his wife Wendy of Middleton, sister-in-law Sylvia Reynolds of Danvers, her nieces and nephews, Debra Bean, Donald Reynolds and Karen Smith, David Reynolds and Kelli Artus, William Reynolds III and Michelle Reynolds as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, William and Donald Reynolds.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Sylvan St., Danvers. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:30AM in the funeral home prior to the service on Wednesday. I have known Jean since I was a little girl. My sister Priscilla and Jean were best friends. She was a part of our family. I always admired Jean’s sincere caring and support for others, and will always remember her laugh. My heart goes out to her family. Sincerely, Betsy Day
