Jeanne Theresa (Kozak) Romagnoli, 78, passed away Sept. 13, 2011 in Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of Peter Romagnoli with whom she shared 60 years of marraige. Born in Danvers on April 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Michael Kozak and Anntoinette (Citroni) (Kozak) Murphy. She attended Holten High School in Danvers. Jeanne was employed with Devcon, retiring from Illinois Tool Works. She retired early to care for her mother and upon her death Jeanne worked as a driver for the Special Needs Department of the Town of Danvers. Jeanne enjoyed cooking, classical music, and attended the BSO for many years. She also enjoyed spending time camping in their trailer, with special trips to Canada. Her first love were her family and friends, and was known as Nana Jeanne and Miss Jeanne to friends and neighbors. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lauren Romagnoli of Boxford, Paul and Phyllis Romagnoli of New Market, NH and John and Susan Romagnoli of Andover, a daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Gerard Manning of Danvers, a brother Michael Kozak and his wife Diane of Franklin, NH, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandson Christopher Fiorillo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Fri., Sept. 16, 2011 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. Vst hrs are Thurs from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donation my be made to the Salvation Army, 50 Elliot St, Beverly MA 01915 or Hospice of Greater Boston, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923

I will miss how you made everyone around you feel special. You always had a kind word, you were always interested in what our families were doing, because family was the most important thing to you.   4. I work at the Danvers Library, and have known Jeanne for many years. I was one of the many people who always ordered books for her on her list, and she always had quite a list!! She always had a smile, great stories about her family and, especially her grandchildren!! She adored and was so proud of them! She always, though, wanted to know how our families were, how we were. She will be greatly missed as one of our regulars! May she rest in peace…
