Jennie F. Hollingsworth

Jennie F. Hollingsworth, 91, passed away on Nov. 3, 2011 in Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Hollingsworth with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. Born in Boston on Oct. 12, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Leskewicz. She was raised on Spectacle Island in Boston Harbor before moving to Nahant and then settling in Wenham for the past 38 years. Jennie was an avid gardener and a talented seamstress. She took special joy in her grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by a son Kenneth “Ed” Hollingsworth and his wife Jean of Wenham, a daughter Kathleen “Susie” Overton and her husband Richard of Lansing, NY, a sister Sophie Harris of Salem, brother-in-law Rob Case of CT. five grandchildren, Jennifer Hollingsworth, K. Dan Hollingsworth, Elizabeth Sherr, George Sweeney and Emily Hollingsworth, 4 great grandchildren, Jack Hollingsworth, Alex Natale and MacEgan and Gavin Sherr. She was predeceased by sisters Marcella Pryzjemsky and Helen Case. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30AM on Sat., Nov. 12, 2011 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Wenham Cemetery, Main St., Wenham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The Church of St. Paul Catholic Church, 50 Union Street So. Hamilton, MA 01982.
