Jennifer L. Courtemanche

TOPSFIELD- Jennifer Leigh (Philpot) Courtemanche, 44, passed away in her home on November 24, 2020. She was the loving wife of Roland A. Courtemanche with whom she shared 19 years of marriage.

Born in Beverly on August 18, 1976, she was the daughter of Richard and Sandra (Cook) Philpot of Beverly. She was raised and educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School in 1994. Jen enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served our country as a Corpsman for 3 years.

Jen was always lending a helping hand. She had been a Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed organizing the best bake sales for them at the local post office. She also was very active with the Masconomet Swim and Dive Team and volunteered for their Booster programs. She also volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab Utah, and ended up coming home with a kitten. She loved her Boston Red Sox and attended many games. Jen also was a talented country crafter and more recently had been making masks for anyone in need.

In addition to her husband, Roland and her parents, Richard and Sandra, she is survived by her children, Blayke and Taylor Courtemanche of Topsfield and her step-daughter, Abigail Courtemanche and her fiancé Devaron Scott of NC, her brother and sister-in-law Jarrod and Bobbi Philpot of South Berwick, ME and nieces and nephew, Madilyn, Ben and Kaitlyn Santisi. She loved all of her pets, Montgomery, Rocky Road, Paisley and Bruin.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Jen never liked wearing black, so please wear bright colors in remembrance of her. Attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing, and are respectfully asked for no physical contact with the family. All other services are private.
