Jenniffer Lynn (Budgell) Porter, 48, died Nov. 24, 2011 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House after an eight year battle with cancer. Jenniffer was born in California but soon thereafter, relocated to Danvers where she attended school, graduating form Danvers High School, Class of 1981. Jenniffer was the daughter of Rodger and Phyllis Budgell. Before her illness, she was employed for many years with the John Hancock Life Insurance Company. Jenniffer was a loving mother to her son Derek Porter. In addition to her son, she is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Ron and Colette Hennessey of Danvers, Mike and Jean Hennessey of Danvers, Gregg and Laura Budgell of Irvine, CA, Scott Budgell of Phoenix, AZ, Diane Langlois of Danvers and Linda and Jim Yost of Danvers, a long time friend John Gorman of Beverly and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Stephanie Howell. At the request of the family Jenniffer’s funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.

  2. Me and jen met in salem when she worked for the arc She Was the best she took me and my brither to our 1st concert in 98 and the memories I have are the best. She was my adopted sister loved her forever she was a social butterfly and he smile lighted the whole room. She will be terribly missed. I’m so sorry for your loss. God bless you and Derik
