Joan M. Fuller

Joan M. Fuller, 85, died Wednesday morning, December 31, 2014 at her home in Danvers surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Gerald L. Fuller, with whom she shared fifty-four years of marriage.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on Nov. 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Bender) Petrullo. She was raised and educated in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School.
Joan retired from the U.S. Postal Service in North Reading at the age of 77. She also worked at Romie’s Oyster House for several years. She enjoyed listening to music, especially jazz.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughter Janine Fuller and her wife Kim Cromidas of Danvers and two sisters, Barbara and Mary, both of New York, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Philip Sheremeta, and her siblings Joseph and Helen.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at 9AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
