Joanne Mae King

Joanne Mae (Crosby) King, 87, of Peabod, passed away on March 5, 2024 in Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. King. Born in Salem on April 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Mae (Cottle) Crosby. Joanne was raised and educated in Beverly. She resided in Danvers for many years where she raised her family. Joanne loved flowers and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed morning walks at the mall with her friends. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Gagnon of Beverly, her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa King of Seabrook, NH, four grandchildren, Joey Gagnon and his wife, Lauren, Jessica Gagnon, Danielle King and Dylan King, and three great grandchildren, Jack, Emily and Sam Gagnon. She is also survived by her sister, Pam Landry and her brother Brian Crosby. She was predeceased by her son Joseph King, Jr., her siblings, Nancy, Jack, Richard and Gary and her brother-in-law, Jerry Landry. Her funeral services are private.
