Joanne (O'Brien) Holzmann

Joanne (O’Brien) Holzmann, 79, passed away on February 21, 2014 at Brooskby Village in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Francis G. Holzmann.
Born in Danvers on October 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Reynolds) O’Brien. She was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School. Joanne had resided in Acton, North Andover and Haverhill before retiring to Peabody.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Lisa and Pasquale Martello of Mamaroneck, NY, Sara and David Chin of Blooming Grove, NY and Mark and Katherine Holzmann of Vallejo, CA, her siblings, Marie McLaughlin of Danvers, MA, James O’Brien of Venice, FL and Paul O’Brien of Danvers, MA, four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kathryn, Rebecca and Emily and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Visiting Hours are Monday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanne’s name to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA, 02472.

Joanne and I worked together in a Law Office in Lawrence for many years.
Joanne was smart, very articulate, friendly and always greeted you with a smile.
